Responsibilities: * Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements. * Preparing layouts in accordance with blueprints, using measuring tools. * Measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials. * Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, molding and hardware. * Erecting scaffolding for elevated work. * Following established safety rules and regulations and maintaining a safe and clean environment. Qualifications: * Minimum 3 years of carpentry experience. * Journeyman Certification is an asset. * Ability to read and interpret blueprints. * Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools. * Strong attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Valid driver's license.
