Job description

We are looking for a Care Team Leader for a residential service attached to a specialist school specialising in autism, speech and language disorders, moderate to severe learning difficulties and associated behavioural difficulties. You who will work on a condensed rota (0700 – 2200) on a three on three off basis (including some sleep ins), supporting the house manager to lead one of many residential teams. This is a varied position leading a house of 15 staff to supporting the young people in residence, ensuring their physical, emotional and social needs are met. You will be responsible for managing the daily routine, including meal times, sleep patterns, and leisure activities, as well as supporting the young people with their personal care, including toileting, showering, and dressing. You will also be required to work closely with the house manager to develop and implement individualised care plans, and to contribute to the overall management of the residential service. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of emotional intelligence, resilience, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
