Care Home Manager

About the Role:

We are looking for companionate, confident Care Home Manager for a new aged care facility in a semi-rural South Auckland setting.

Reporting to the Area Manager, you will uphold quality standards and foster a positive organisational culture, ensuring delivery of an extraordinary living experiences for residents.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the facility, providing commercially focused leadership to achieve agreed business and financial objectives. With a clinical background and a current APC, you will also work with clinical management to ensure the provision of safe clinical support, leadership and accountability as you lead a dedicated and passionate team in a modern care facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire the clinical and care team to provide exceptional resident care
• Build a warm, positive culture
• Strengthen relationships with residents, families and the wider community
• Oversee quality, safety, compliance and continuous improvement
• Manage financial and operational performance to ensure sustainable, effective care

Skills and Experience:

• NZ Nurse Registration with a current practicing nursing certificate (APC)
• Minimum of five (5) years' experience leading teams in aged care, health or a related sector
• Confidence managing clinical risk, compliance and change
• Strong operational capability, including budgeting and quality management
• Proven ability to quickly build relationships with residents, staff, and internal/external customers.
• Leadership of teams - a natural leader and skilled communicator
• A warm, collaborative leadership style with excellent communication skills
