Care Centre Manager

Job Description We are on the lookout for an inspirational Care Centre Manager who is enthusiastic about leading a well-established team of Nurses and Caregivers who require continuation of great leadership to provide quality care in our Care Centre. Located in Richmond, this is a full-time role with working hours from Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. On occasion you may be required on-call. Role responsibilities Reporting into the Village Manager, the Care Centre will be your domain. You'll effectively lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Care Centre, ensuring that all aspects of care are delivered to a high standard. This includes but is not limited to: • Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. • Ensuring compliance with relevant policies, procedures and regulations. • Building strong relationships with residents, families and stakeholders. • Managing and developing your team of Nurses and Caregivers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care. • Maintaining accurate records and reporting on a regular basis. • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the development of policies and procedures. • Collaborating with other departments within the Village to achieve shared goals and objectives. • Providing support and guidance to new staff members. • Identifying and addressing any issues or concerns that may arise. • Maintaining a safe and healthy environment for residents, staff and visitors. Requirements • A relevant degree in Nursing, Health Science or related field. • At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role within the aged care sector. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. • A current First Aid Certificate is desirable but not essential.
