Job description
Would you like to share with other staff in meeting the personal care and support needs of customers in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes their independence? Would you like to work within a family run business? Would you like to choose the hours you work around your own lifestyle? Principal responsibilities To assist customers who need help getting up and going to bed in the morning and evenings, including dressing and undressing, washing, bathing and going to the toilet. To provide emotional support and companionship to customers, helping them maintain their independence and confidence. To be aware of and respect the individual needs and preferences of each customer, and to work with other staff members to ensure that these are met. To assist with light household tasks such as laundry, cleaning and meal preparation. To participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge. To maintain accurate records of customer care and support, including medication administration and any incidents or accidents that may occur.
