ABOUT THE ROLE As a Bank Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll help residents enjoy each day by making sure they get the quality care and support they deserve. As a Bank Care Assistant, you will be required to: • Provide person-centred care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional and social needs are met. • Assist with daily living tasks such as personal care, dressing, grooming and mobility. • Support residents with their medication, including administering prescribed medications under the guidance of a qualified nurse. • Encourage and support residents to maintain their independence and engage in activities that bring them joy and fulfillment. • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care are delivered. • Be flexible and adaptable, as every day will be different and you'll need to be able to respond to changing circumstances.
