What you will do in this role: * As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will perform a variety of diagnostic tests and procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. * Operate specialized equipment, such as echocardiography machines, stress test systems, and cardiac catheterization equipment. * Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and answering questions to ensure their comfort and cooperation. * Obtain and record patient medical histories and vital signs. * Monitor patients during procedures, observing and documenting cardiac rhythms, blood pressure, and other critical data. * Assist physicians during invasive procedures, such as cardiac catheterizations and angioplasties. * Maintain equipment and ensure proper functioning. * Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures. Qualifications What you will need to be successful: * Education: Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program or equivalent. * Certification: Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (RCVT) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) certification preferred. * Experience: Previous experience as a Cardiovascular Technologist preferred. * Skills: * Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology. * Proficiency in operating cardiovascular imaging and monitoring equipment. * Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and recognize abnormalities. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. * Commitment to patient care and safety.
