Head of Polishing Department for Bijoux and Jewelry (Relocation to Albania Available)

Adecco is looking for an important company operating in the jewelry sector for a Head of Polishing Department for Bijoux and Jewelry to be integrated into the production facility in Durres (Albania).

The resource will be integrated into the production department and will be responsible for coordinating the polishing and finishing activities of high-quality jewelry and bijoux, contributing to ensuring the high aesthetic and quality standards required by the company.

The mission of the role is to ensure the excellence of the product finishing processes, progressively coordinating the department's activities and supporting the development of the local team's skills.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform polishing, buffing, and finishing operations on precious and non-precious metal jewelry and bijoux
• Verify the aesthetic quality and conformity of the products to company standards
• Identify and correct any imperfections arising from previous production stages
• Use specific equipment and tools for buffing and finishing manufactured goods
• Collaborate with production departments to ensure the correct progression of work
• Support the training and mentoring of the operational resources in the department
• Contribute to the optimization of production processes and the maintenance of quality standards
• Assume coordination and Head of Department responsibilities

Required Skills

• Consolidated experience in the role of Senior Polisher gained in the high-end jewelry and costume jewelry sector
• Proven experience in polishing and finishing jewelry and bijoux (not fashion accessories)
• Excellent manual dexterity, precision, and attention to detail
• Knowledge of the main polishing techniques and tools
• Good organizational skills and predisposition for team coordination
• Fluent knowledge of Italian and Albanian languages
• Availability to relocate to the company's site in Durres (Albania)
• Previous experience in managing production departments will be considered a plus
