Industrial Plant Engineer

Michael Page - Technical specification drafting and issuance for the purchase of machines, machine parts or industrial plants that may be constructive, functional, descriptive, etc. - Supervision of overall, detailed, and reverse engineering related to new installations, revamping, or modifications of production lines, industrial plants, or individual equipment present in our Fonderia, Extrusion, and Wire Drawing departments. - Management, updating, and archiving of technical project documentation for existing and/or new industrial plants. - Provides technical/documentary support to maintenance departments. - Coordinates with the supply chain for technical assistance during the assignment of external supplier tenders. - Drafting and issuance of acceptance specifications for purchases from external suppliers. - Verification of compliance with procurement specifications and component, machine, or plant testing. - Drafting of internal instructions and procedures related to plants undergoing design changes. - Coordination of installation work on complete industrial plants. - Commissioning of complete industrial plants. The candidate will have experience in: - Good mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid dynamics skills. - Knowledge of the regulatory framework for mechanical design. - Defining autonomous functional, safety, and interface logic for new lines, industrial plants, or machines in accordance with current regulations. - Proven experience in alignments and tracing of machines and foundations. - Proven experience in starting up industrial plants. - A minimum knowledge of reading electrical diagrams is required. - A minimum knowledge of automation systems (no programming) is required.
