ATTAL GROUP S.p.A., a leading Italian agency specializing in personnel recruitment, selection, and training, as well as human resources management, is seeking a prestigious hotel located in Bari for an experienced chef profile: - Expert Chef / Cook. The selected resource will be inserted within the kitchen department and manage operational activities independently, ensuring high-quality standards, organizational efficiency, and cost control, respecting the direction's guidelines. Main responsibilities: • Operational management of the hotel's kitchen and related restaurant services; • Preparation and coordination of food services (à la carte, buffet, and breakfast); • Support in defining menus in accordance with the direction, respecting seasonality, budget, and local products; • Management of Food Cost, control of raw materials, reduction of waste, and inventory management; • Organization of kitchen activities and workload planning; • Supervision and collaboration with the kitchen team; • Application and monitoring of HACCP procedures according to regulatory standards. Required qualifications: • Previous experience of at least 2 years in the role of Chef or Expert Cook; • Excellent knowledge of Mediterranean and traditional Italian cuisine; • Experience in managing à la carte, buffet, and breakfast services; • Good ability to manage Food Cost and supplies; • Operational autonomy, sense of responsibility, and organizational skills; • HACCP certification currently valid; • Good knowledge of the English language (basic/intermediate level); • Teamwork attitude, problem-solving, and flexibility. General conditions of the role: • Contract: fixed-term contract with possibility of extension; • Schedule: full-time 40 hours weekly, on shifts; • Work expected on weekends and public holidays; • Second language welcome for roles in contact with guests.
