Mission:

Your central mission is to flawlessly direct and execute beverage service in all hotel bars, lounges, and stations.

What will be your responsibilities?

• Direct the daily operation of bars and floor beverage service. Ensure meticulous preparation and presentation of signature cocktails, premium spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages, guaranteeing perfect temperature, impeccable glassware, and precise garnishes.
• Administer Beverage Cost. Oversee daily liquor inventories, bar requisitions, and par levels. Implement strict pouring controls, minimize spills, and execute zero-waste mixology initiatives to protect the hotel's liquid assets and maximize profitability.
• Lead, train, and mentor a brigade of bartenders, barbacks, and cocktail servers. Conduct daily briefings to educate staff on brand storytelling, premium spirit profiles, new mixology techniques, and sophisticated suggestive selling strategies.
• Act as the ultimate host at the bar. Interact with VIP guests, interpreting their preferences to curate personalized beverage experiences. Handle any special requests or service recovery related to beverages with absolute discretion and elegance.
• Be the ultimate guarantor of hygiene in the bars. Ensure strict compliance with Cristal standards and international health codes regarding ice handling, garnish preparation, station cleaning, and responsible alcohol service.

What are we looking for in you?

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Administration, or advanced certifications from recognized international cocktail/mixology academies.
• Professional English
• 3 to 5 years of verifiable experience as a Bar Captain, Head Bartender, or Bar Supervisor in Grand Tourism properties, 5 Diamond resorts, or high-volume luxury cocktail lounges.
• In-depth knowledge of classic and avant-garde mixology, premium spirits, infusions, and bar inventory control. Advanced proficiency in Point of Sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to maintain mental clarity, emotional control, and speed of service during peak hours ("the rush") without compromising the aesthetic perfection of the drinks.
• Attention to the visual and sensory details of the bar environment, understanding that in the JOIA brand, a stained glass or an oxidized garnish is a critical service failure.
