Curis Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading Aboriginal Health Service in the Northern Territory to recruit an experienced Cancer Awareness Team Leader.

Job Details:
Based in the Northern Territory with regular travel to remote communities. You’ll work in a region known for its stunning landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and strong sense of community offering a lifestyle where adventure meets purpose.
Your Role:
Lead a small team of Cancer Support Officers and collaborate with clinical teams, community leaders, and partner organisations to deliver cancer awareness campaigns, education sessions, and culturally tailored health promotion resources. The role also involves coordinating practical support services such as transport and appointment navigation, building partnerships to improve referral pathways, and monitoring program impact.

Job Details:
- Permanent full-time role
- Base salary of up to $141,199.74 base plus 12% superannuation
- Relocation assistance available
- 6 weeks annual leave plus 18% leave loading
- Salary packaging and tax benefits
- Vehicle access and travel allowance for remote site visits

What You’ll Need:
- Tertiary qualification in health promotion, public health, nursing, social work, or related field
- Experience delivering cancer awareness or chronic disease programs in Aboriginal communities
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
- Understanding of the social determinants of Aboriginal health and cancer care continuum
- Ability to travel regularly to remote communities
- Full Australian working rights (Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, valid Working Visa, or New Zealand Citizenship)
