Campaign Manager (m|f|d) - Parental Leave Replacement

In the role of Campaign Manager (m|f|d), you will be responsible for the operational management and optimization of Retail Media campaigns for our advertising clients. You will ensure that our advertising campaigns are successfully implemented, data-based optimized, and continuously developed – with the goal of ensuring both commercial success and a positive user experience. 

As part of the Retail Media Onsite team, you will work closely with external partners – including brands, shops, and agencies – as well as cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Tech, and Data. In this interface function, you will make a significant contribution to the strategic development and successful scaling of our Sponsored Ads portfolio. 

You will translate strategic direction into operational excellence and help build a high-performing retail media setup. 

The position is limited to 12 months as a parental leave replacement.

Your Responsibilities

• Operational management and optimization of onsite advertising campaigns (e.g., Sponsored Product Ads or individual branding formats). 

• Monitoring and continuous improvement of relevant KPIs. 

• Campaign setup, quality assurance, and reporting in exchange with the respective advertising clients (brand manufacturers, agencies, and retailers). 

• Close collaboration with Sales on campaign planning, execution, and performance feedback. 

• Analysis of performance data and derivation of concrete optimization measures. 

• Support in managing and further developing our pricing logic and inventory management in close coordination with your supervisor, the Expert Lead Retail Media. 

• Further development of processes, standards, and reporting structures in the onsite area. 

• Identification of optimization and upselling potentials together with the Sales team.

What You Bring With You

• Experience in Digital Advertising, Retail Media, or Performance Marketing. 

• Sound hands-on experience in campaign management and performance optimization. 

• Good understanding of Retail Media KPIs, auction logic, and inventory management. 

• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to work. 

• Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Tech, Data). 

• Structured, precise, and independent way of working, as well as a high degree of ownership and solution orientation. 

• You maintain a hands-on, solution- and implementation-oriented attitude, drive initiatives forward, remove obstacles, and deliver results – even in unclear situations.

• You communicate confidently in German and well in English.
