Description
Main objective of the position:
Programming CAM efficiently and reliably for CNC milling machines in the workshop.
Responsibilities:
• Programming CAM efficiently and reliably for CNC milling machines in the workshop;
• Creating and optimizing CAM programs for 3-axis to 5-axis milling machines;
• Selecting ideal tools and processing strategies to reduce processing times and costs;
• Simulating and verifying program collisions for trouble-free operation;
• Respecting standards and supporting their future development;
• Coordinating closely with design, production planning, and manufacturing for process optimization;
• Supporting CNC technicians in configuring and optimizing programs;
• Analyzing errors and continuously improving strategies;
• Documenting programs and processes for sustainable reuse;
• Analyzing machine times and identifying potential for optimization.
Profile description
Requirements:
• Good knowledge of CAD/CAM systems (preferably Cimatron, HyperMill);
• Experience in manufacturing molds;
• Knowledge of English/German constitutes an advantage;
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a similar position;
• Teamwork.
