Responsibilities

• Creation, simulation, and optimization of CAM programs for 3- and 5-axis milling

• Programming of CNC/NC toolpaths for complex components with tight tolerances

• Selection of tools, cutting data, and fixturing concepts for aluminum, steel, titanium, and Inconel

• Setup, run-in, and process release of new parts through to stable series production

• Analysis and reduction of cycle times as well as improvement of machine utilization

• Development of program libraries, templates, and manufacturing documentation

• Interpretation of technical drawings including GD&T and tolerance-critical features

• Development and optimization of fixturing and clamping strategies

• Support for NPI / new part introductions from drawing to robust production

• Technical feedback on DFM topics to internal teams and customers

• Collaboration with the software team to improve data acquisition, planning, and automation

• Participation in site development, commissioning, and definition of robust manufacturing processes

Profile

• Several years of experience as a CAM Programmer (m/f/d), CNC Programmer (m/f/d), NC Programmer (m/f/d), or in a comparable role in machining

• Proficient in common CAM systems, e.g., hyperMILL, Mastercam, Siemens NX, or comparable

• Experience in 5-axis milling, ideally also in simultaneous 5-axis machining

• Experience with high-quality CNC machines, e.g., Hermle, DMG Mori, or comparable systems

• Demonstrated experience with tight tolerances in the range of ±0.01 mm or finer

• Very good understanding of feeds, cutting speeds, tool life, and fixturing technology

• Hands-on mentality: not just creating programs, but also securing processes at the machine

• Routine in reading complex drawings as well as in revision status, documentation, and change discipline

• Industry knowledge in Aerospace, Defense, or other regulated precision manufacturing is desirable

• Knowledge in Vericut, probing systems, pallet systems, or EN 9100 / AS9100 is a plus

• German or English at a level that allows for secure coordination in the technical production environment
