Job Title: Calendar Clerk – U.S. Legal System Experience (Remote) Company Name: Paired We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Calendar Clerk with experience in the U.S. legal system to join our team and support a prominent U.S.-based law firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the U.S. legal system, including the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, the Federal Rules of Appellate Procedure, and the Local Rules of the U.S. District Courts. Responsibilities: • Manage and maintain the law firm's calendar, ensuring all deadlines and appointments are accurately recorded and updated in a timely manner. • Coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, and other support staff to ensure seamless communication and task management. • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to inquiries and resolving any issues promptly. • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. • Work collaboratively with the firm's administrative team to ensure efficient and effective operations. • Perform other administrative tasks as needed. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business, communications, or a related field). • At least 2 years of experience working in the U.S. legal system, preferably in a law firm or legal services organization. • Strong understanding of the U.S. legal system, including the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, the Federal Rules of Appellate Procedure, and the Local Rules of the U.S. District Courts. • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with attorneys, paralegals, and other support staff. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
