What will you do as Calculator?

As Calculator you are responsible for calculating costs and preparing tenders for (new) assignments and contracts, both in the public and private sectors.

Your task package as calculator looks like this:

• Analyzing client questions, specifications, and tender files
• You set up cost calculations for facility services within HVAC, electro, construction maintenance, etc.
• Gathering information from suppliers and subcontractors
• You work out tenders that are both technically and commercially substantiated. Besides the classic tenders for management and maintenance, you also participate in challenging DBFM-projects (Design, Build, Finance, Maintain). Here, you make cost calculations for maintenance including total warranty.
• Techincal control and analysis of the bill of quantities
• Brainstorming about optimizations, alternatives or cost savings
• You follow market prices and technical developments closely to keep your calculations up-to-date
• You document your calculations carefully in the ERP- or calculation system

You will receive internal training and support, so you can grow into a true expert in this complex field. Colleagues will therefore look at what material you need to request, what you should do with suppliers, etc.
