Cafe & Restaurant Manager

Nats & US Pty Ltd Trading as Agapi Greek , Taprodane Taste of Ceylon and Nunu Fusion Thai is seeking a dynamic, creative and career focused individual to join our management team on full time. This position provides a great opportunity for a highly experienced Café & Restaurant Manager looking to develop their skills further. You will ensure tasks assigned are carried out in a timely fashion, to a high standard and within organization philosophy and guidelines.

Main Duties

• Planning menus in consultation with Chefs
• Planning and organising special functions at the restaurant and private function rooms
• Arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget
• Maintaining records of stock levels using inventory management tools and
• Monitoring the financial transactions at the counters
• Ensuring the dining facilities and other related areas comply with health regulations
• Manage proper housekeeping and maintenance to ensure venues are clean, functional and of suitable appearance
• Interacting with customers to build up a cordial relationship and assess their satisfaction with meals and service
• Participate in the selection, training and supervision of waiting and kitchen staff
• Overview reservations to plan accordingly
• Greet guests and ensure happy experiences
• Assist in taking orders and lead by example during peak hours when needed.

• Demonstrated ability to be able to multi task

Qualification

Trade Qualification

• A Diploma in Hospitality / Management or equivalence
• Extensive experience of more than 3 yrs will be considered as meeting qualification requirements

Experience

• Previous experience: at least 3 years Café & Restaurant Manager
• Experience in High end venues is highly desirable.
