Cafe Assistant - Weekend

We’re now looking for a Café Assistant for our Summerset Palms Village in Te Awa who shares our love for people and hospitality.

You’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth running of our café. From making great coffee to creating tasty cabinet food and light meals, you’ll help make our café a warm and welcoming place for residents, their families, and visitors. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Preparing, presenting, and serving food and drinks to a high standard
• Providing outstanding barista services
• Assisting with catering for village events and resident functions
• Handling cash and reconciling daily takings

You’ll work closely with the Chef Manager, Café Supervisor, and wider village team to deliver a café experience that’s welcoming, consistent, and genuinely enjoyable.

This is a part time role offering 32 hour per fortnight on Saturday & Sunday from 8am - 4:30pm, or 9am - 5:30pm.
