Cafe Assistant

We believe that a great cup of coffee and a warm smile can brighten anyone’s day. We're more than just a café, we’re a community hub, a space for connection, and a team that supports and looks out for each other. We’re now looking for a Café Assistant for our Milldale Village who shares our love for people and hospitality.

You’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth running of our café. From making great coffee to creating tasty cabinet food and light meals, you’ll help make our café a warm and welcoming place for residents, their families, and visitors. You’ll work closely with the Chef Manager, Café Supervisor, and wider village team to deliver a café experience that’s welcoming, consistent, and genuinely enjoyable. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Preparing, presenting, and serving food and drinks to a high standard
• Providing outstanding barista services
• Assisting with catering for village events and resident functions
• Handling cash and reconciling daily takings

We have two positions available:

• Sunday to Thursday, 9:30am to 3:30pm
• Friday to Monday, 9:30am to 3:30pm

The roles will start on the 21st September, starting with 2.5 weeks of full-time training and support. Interviews will take place at the end of August.
