Café Assistant / All Rounder

We’re looking for a reliable and experienced Café Assistant / All Rounder to join our small, friendly team at WE Café & Deli in Sunderland city centre. This is a hands-on role in a medium-paced café (sometimes busy) – we’re looking for someone who can stay calm, organised and accurate during service. You’ll be a key part of the day-to-day running of the café, taking orders, preparing food and keeping things clean and organised throughout the shift. Main duties include preparing sandwiches, salads, snacks and drinks to high standards, maintaining a clean and tidy environment, managing cash handling and operating a till, providing excellent customer service, working as part of a team to achieve our goals, being flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, and contributing to the overall success of the café. We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences, has a strong work ethic, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
