JOMOS Brandschutz AG, based in Balsthal and with around 180 employees, is a leading company in the exciting field of technical fire protection. Since 2018, the company has been part of the international VINCI Group. For the extinguishing systems division, we are looking for an experienced and dedicated employee, starting immediately or by appointment.
Your Areas of Responsibility
Focus on drafting and planning tasks in extinguishing system construction / sprinkler systems
Creation of location and usage plans, system schematics, operating instructions using AutoCAD in conjunction with CATS
Construction of execution, assembly, and revision plans for sprinkler systems in 3D or isometric 2D representation and sprinkler control units in 3D, including the representation of technical details such as brackets, sections, views, as described above, according to sprinkler guidelines (SES, VdS, FM, etc.)
Preparation and independent execution of hydraulic calculations (system design)
Creation of production drawings, material lists, and / or orders
Support with submissions to authorities
Ensuring technically and qualitatively flawless implementation (guidelines/conformity)
What You Bring
Completed vocational training as a designer, building services planner, or technical drafter with professional experience
Studies at HF level (e.g., HF Technician in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration)
Industry experience in the construction, mechanical engineering, or building services sectors is desirable
Good knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Outlook, Excel, and Word
Very good CAD skills, preferably AutoCAD in 2D and 3D or Revit
Fluent German
Willingness for continuous further training in various regulations
