We are looking for a CAD Expert for placement with our client, Siemens Mobility Austria GmbH, starting immediately, full-time (38.5h/week), at the Graz location.

Siemens Mobility develops and produces chassis for all types of modern rail vehicles (for local transport, locomotives, regional, and high-speed trains) including digitalization solutions for the rail vehicle sector.

Your Tasks

• Support, administration, and further development of the deployed CAD/PLM systems
• Support in the implementation of an IT transfer project across multiple sites
• Interface function between design, product development, and IT
• Analysis, optimization, and standardization of CAD/PLM processes
• Consultation and support for users on functional and technical questions
• Participation in the introduction of new methods, processes, and system functionalities
• Close cooperation with internal stakeholders and international teams
• Active contribution to future-oriented digitalization and transformation projects in the engineering environment

Your Qualification

• Completed technical education (HTL, FH, University) in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or comparable
• High understanding of product development and engineering processes
• Strong IT affinity and interest in digital tools and system landscapes
• Experience in development, digitalization, or IT projects
• Knowledge in the CAD/PLM environment or practical experience in design
• Analytical mindset and enjoyment of process optimization
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Your Perspective

Depending on your specific qualifications and professional experience, a gross monthly salary of at least EUR 4500,- is envisaged (this will in any case exceed the collective agreement minimum wage). The final salary agreement will be made during a personal interview.
