Cable and Pipe Advisor advises during the tender and execution phase on the installation, removal, and maintenance of cables and pipes for the realization of projects such as highways, dams, bridges, tunnels, container terminals, mooring sites, and construction piers. Specifically, this means that you set up or review functional specifications and designs and test them against the established requirements. The entire process is digitalized from design to tracking progress during execution. You use Civil3D, GIS, and Relatics software.

What You Will Do as Cable and Pipe Advisor:

• Analyze, Advise, and Support the Tender Team on issues related to Cables and Pipes. Additionally, you will provide advice on the bid budget for cables and pipes.
• Evaluate advice documents and tenders from subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Initiate, guide, and develop tracing designs and relocation plans during the design phase.
• Set up and handle, or provide input for VTA/VTM and POS processes.
• Provide input to Planning, focused on cable and pipe relocations.
• Guide, monitor, and control cable and pipe relocations by third parties during execution.

What You Bring:

• A minimum of five years of work experience as an engineer or advisor in the field of cables and pipes for a contractor, advisory firm, or engineering firm.
• You are a sturdy personality with well-developed analytical and advisory skills.
• It is an advantage if you have knowledge of integrated UAV-GC contracts such as Design & Construct and 2-phase contracts.
• Basis knowledge of Autocad/Civil3D.
• You possess a B driving license and are not bothered by working on various (project) locations in the Netherlands.
