C++ Software Engineer

Hays Solutions, a company within the multinational Hays group, listed on the London Stock Exchange, offers consulting services aimed at identifying, understanding, and achieving the concrete objectives of business projects in the IT, Engineering, or Digital sectors.

We are looking for a C++ Software Engineer to join our development team, to work on professional consulting projects.

What you will need to succeed

• At least 3-5 years of experience in software development, with a solid knowledge of C++ in application or embedded environments.
• Knowledge of one or more additional languages such as Java, C, or Python, used for backend development, scripting, automation, or system integration, is preferred.
• Familiarity with AI tools for software development (GitHub Copilot, LLM, Agent Framework) or a strong interest in these technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and code review processes.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and excellent teamwork collaboration skills.
• Experience in developing software for embedded platforms or in integrated hardware-software contexts is considered a preferential qualification.

• Daily rate: €300 - €400
• Activity: Full-time
• Work arrangement: Full remote (with possible monthly travel to Florence)
