ondeso is a leading provider of OT administration software for industrial IT, based in Regensburg: With ondeso SR, we offer industrial PCs a reliable, standard-integrated backup solution for backups without any restarts or production interruptions. To strengthen our development team, we are looking for an experienced C Developer (m/f/d) who will further develop this core technology at a system level and with performance criticality.

Your Tasks:

· Further development and maintenance of our disk imaging core in C

· System-level work in the environment of Windows kernel and file systems

· Ensuring stability and data integrity on running/productive systems

· Further development of security-relevant components (including encryption)

· Performance optimization of memory- and I/O-intensive code

· Close collaboration within the development team on architectural decisions for our storage and backup solution

Your Profile:

· Several years of experience in system-level C development

· Experience with Windows low-level programming, e.g., in the environment of kernel, drivers, or file systems

· Profound understanding of memory management and performance-critical code

· Experience working with running/productive systems where stability is crucial

· Independent, meticulous work style and willingness to learn new topics

· Enjoyment of technical depth rather than rapid feature stacking

· Strong communication skills, also remotely and in a small team

· Very good German language skills, both spoken and written, and good English language skills

Nice-to-have:

· Knowledge of the Windows Driver Kit (WDK) or driver development

· Experience with storage or backup software

· Knowledge of cryptography or encryption methods

· Experience with industrial OT environments or industrial PCs

· Basic knowledge of Linux

· Experience with cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS)
