As C/C++ Software Developer (m/w/d) for Embedded Systems with a focus on the Defence sector, you will set up diverse development projects at our own locations, directly at the customer's site in Bremen, or remotely.

Aufgaben

Arbeitsort:

In this position, you will regularly be on site at our customer in Bremen. The presence on site is required, as you will sometimes work directly on the hardware. At the same time, you can flexibly adjust your working hours and have the opportunity to work up to 12 days per month from home.

• As a Windhoffer, you will apply your expertise specifically in the Defence sector and actively contribute to the further development and optimization of Embedded Systems.
• You will work in both established legacy environments and modern technology stacks, continuously developing existing systems.
• Your projects range from large, long-term system landscapes (over months to years) to smaller, agile initiatives and research projects.
• You will develop software in C++ (from version 14) and integrate components into complex overall systems.
• You will take over – depending on the project – tasks in conception, implementation, integration, and further development.

Qualifikation

• You have already gained several years of experience in C/C++ development for Embedded Systems.
• You feel comfortable both in older and modern technologies and have no hesitation with older versions or established structures.
• You are already working according to agile methods like Scrum, or you are willing to expand your knowledge of classical methods (e.g. V-Model).
• You have experience with version control systems like SVN, Git, GitLab, or GitHub.
• You possess good German language skills and ideally English language skills for teamwork and customer collaboration.
• Ideal would be first-hand experience in the Defence sector.
