C++ 17 Developer

We are looking for an experienced C++ 17 developer for our client in Germany.

Your main task will be to support the project team in further developing the source code to implement described functionalities according to JIRA tickets.

The software application follows a client-server architecture and includes code areas in frontend (Angular) and backend (C++).

The tasks that arise concern activities in C++-backend.

If necessary, tasks can also be taken on for continuous extension of a test suite to verify the correct function and usability of the API.

This test suite is implemented in Python.

Tasks:

• C++ 17 software development
• Development of C++-backend
• Further developments of source code to implement described functionalities
• Processing of tickets in JIRA
• Description of reasons for the non-resolvability of tickets
• Discussion of implementation with members of the development group
• Extension of test suite
• Coordination with the development team and business

Requirements:

• Long-term developer experience in C++ 17
• Very good experience in unit testing
• In-depth developer knowledge of C++ 17, C++
• Libraries: GoogleTest, GoogleMock, Poco, oatpp. git, Swagger, Jenkins, Jira, Visual Studio Code
• Beneficial Skills: Designing REST APIs, using OpenAPI (Swagger),
• Nice to have: Basic Python development experience
• Angular - advantageous

Project details:

• Start: January
• Duration: 12 months (+ extension option)
• Utilization: 5 days per week
• Location: 3 days/week on-site in Germany, 2 days/week remote (approx. 40% remote)
• Language: Fluent German & good English
