Job Title: Buyer Location: Cape Town Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Buyer to join our team. The Buyer will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, products, and services for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of inventory management, supply chain logistics, and vendor relations. This individual must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Identify and source potential suppliers. Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors. Manage and maintain relationships with suppliers. Create and process purchase orders. Monitor inventory levels and reorder as necessary. Track and analyze purchasing trends and market conditions. Collaborate with other departments to ensure purchasing needs are met. Resolve any issues related to purchase orders and deliveries. Maintain accurate records of all purchases and transactions. Adhere to company policies and procedures. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field. Proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar role. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Experience with ERP systems is a plus. Knowledge of local and international sourcing practices. Benefits: Competitive salary.
