RPO's client is actively seeking an experienced Buyer to join their dynamic team based in Midrand, Gauteng. This is a fantastic opportunity for a procurement professional to play a key role in supply chain operations for a reputable company. This is a full-time, onsite position. Job Title: Buyer Location: Midrand, Gauteng Reporting to: Head of Supply Chain Job Summary: The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing goods, maintaining adequate stock levels, and creating purchase orders; ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services; and collaborating with internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement principles and practices, with experience in a similar role. Key responsibilities will include: • Sourcing goods and services from a diverse range of suppliers; • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of procurement activities; • Creating and managing purchase orders, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services; • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives; • Identifying and mitigating risks associated with procurement activities; • Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers; • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures; • Providing procurement support to other departments as required.
