Aufgaben

As Business Unit Leader, you will take overall responsibility for the company's technical facility management unit with around 160 employees at several locations. The focus is on effective leadership and further development of the team as well as targeted expansion of the service business. Tasks include:

• Operative and economic leadership of the business unit
• Führung, Entwicklung und Befähigung der Mitarbeitenden und Führungskräfte
• Weiterentwicklung der Organisation, Prozesse und Leistungsqualität sowie Steuerung und konsequente Umsetzung der strategischen Unternehmensziele in Richtung Ausbau des technischen Servicegeschäfts
• Gezielte Akquisition neuer Projekte und Auftraggeber sowie Unterstützung der Geschäftseinheiten in Vertrieb, Kundenentwicklung und Marktpositionierung
• Aktive Kundenbetreuung und vertriebliche Weiterentwicklung bestehender und neuer Kundenbeziehungen
• Mitwirkung bei öffentlichen und privaten Ausschreibungen sowie die Bewertung von Vertragschancen, Kalkulationen und wirtschaftlichen Risiken
• Gewährleistung der Einhaltung von gesetzlichen Vorgaben, Sicherheitsstandards und Qualitätsanforderungen

Qualifikation

• Completed studies in the field of Facility Management, Building Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Multiple years of experience in a leadership position, ideally in technical facility management, building services, TGA environment, or infrastructure building operation
• Demonstrable successes in leading and further developing organizational units, business units, subsidiaries, or comparable responsibility areas
• Experience in acquiring new customers, expanding existing customer relationships, and actively developing a company's business unit
• Fundamental knowledge of budget responsibility, cost control, controlling, and business performance management
• Travel readiness between the locations of the Business Unit in North-East Germany
