Business Unit Lead (m/w/d) Fabrik- und Logistikplanung

You want to lead projects, but also develop and lead a business unit strategically? As Business Unit Lead (m/w/d), you will be responsible for the overall management of our Business Unit Fabrik- und Logistikplanung at the Stuttgart location. You combine operational project leadership and customer development with strategic guidance, economic responsibility, and leadership. In doing so, you shape growth, quality, and profitability actively and are the central point of contact for customers, project teams, and management.

From Fabrik- und Logistikplanung to Systems Engineering up to operational project support – we are partners of industry when it comes to implementing projects. Aufgaben

Gesamtverantwortung der Business Unit Fabrik- und Logistikplanung am Standort Stuttgart:

• Strategische Leitung: Further development of the business unit strategy and implementation into concrete plans, measures, and goals
• Ergebnissteuerung: Analysis and qualification of sales and project results as well as relevant key figures to identify deviations and derive suitable measures
• Budgetverantwortung: Overall responsibility for the budget of the business unit including cost control and profitability analyses

Kunde und Projektarbeit:

• Kundenbetreuung: Central point of contact for our existing customers with a focus on customer satisfaction, quality, and long-term partnerships
• Kundenentwicklung: Systematic expansion of existing customer relationships through early recognition of needs and targeted positioning of our service portfolio
• Projektleitung: Leadership of and participation in strategic customer projects with key account potential as well as steering of the entire offer process
• Stakeholder Management: Recognition and control of requirements as well as ensuring a smooth information flow – convincing communication on all levels from department to C-level

Führung & Organisation:

• Führungsverantwortung: Disciplinary and professional leadership of the team leader at the Stuttgart location
• Organisationsentwicklung: Further development of internal processes, structures, and working methods within UNITY Operations in collaboration with management
• Mitglied des Führungsteams: Active role in the leadership circle and close cooperation with management

Qualifikation

• Completed studies in the field of engineering, business administration or a comparable field
• Demonstrable experience in strategically leading a business unit as well as controlling complex projects and customer relationships in the context of Fabrik- und Logistikplanung
• Outstanding sales skills and an existing customer network in the industry
• Outstanding consulting skills and communication strength in collaboration with internal and external project participants on all levels up to C-level
• Entrepreneurial thinking and experience in budget responsibility, result steering, and profitability analyses
• Analytical, structured working style paired with high implementation strength and hands-on mentality
