As Business Unit Lead Cloud Infrastructure (m/f/d) at evoila, you will take overall responsibility for an internationally positioned business unit and significantly shape its strategic, operational, and economic development. At the same time, you will drive modern cloud infrastructure topics with a focus on VMware by Broadcom and lead teams in an international matrix organization.

Tasks

• Strategy & Steering: You will be responsible for the strategic alignment and further development of the Cloud Infrastructure business unit around VMware by Broadcom. You will steer processes, OKRs, guidelines, and risk management, and regularly coordinate with C-level, Country Management, and the responsible managers.
• Economics & Planning: You will take over budgeting, controlling, profitability management, utilization, and resource planning, ensuring that the cloud portfolio is economically viable, scalable, and clearly positioned technically.
• Leadership & Personnel: You will lead Unit Leads and Business Unit members with an international mindset, support recruiting, employee development, skill building, and certification goals, and take responsibility for salary and feedback processes.
• Sales, Marketing & Partners: You will support sales, marketing, and partner activities through technical positioning, portfolio enablement, content impulses, and quality assurance of offers, tenders, and bid documents. You will also maintain and develop the strategic partner relationship with Broadcom as a central technology partner for VMware.
• Operations & Customers: You will steer delivery, projects, and new services, assist with escalations and key account management, and ensure transparent tracking of quality, customer satisfaction, and economic goal achievement through KPI and results reporting.

Qualification

• You have at least five years of relevant professional experience and ideally have already held a comparable leadership role in a similar environment.
• You are very familiar with VMware by Broadcom and also possess a strong general understanding of modern cloud infrastructure topics.
• You think entrepreneurially, steer confidently using KPIs, and combine strategic decisions with operational implementation strength.
• You have experience in budgeting, profitability management, resource planning, and project controlling.
• You lead clearly, obligingly, and at eye level, and have experience effectively steering international or matrix-organized teams through goals, feedback, development, and operational priorities.
• You communicate confidently in German at a native level and fluently in English.
• Experience in the internationalization of teams, services, or business models is a plus.
