Business Unit Director – Premium Chicken, Meat & Semi

Location: Lublin

Your responsibilities

• Developing and implementing operational strategy in the area of poultry processing, meat products, and poultry semi-finished products;
• Supervising the functioning of poultry slaughterhouses and ensuring the continuity and efficiency of slaughter processes;
• Managing the sales of poultry meat and semi-finished products (semi), including developing sales of standard chicken and premium chicken products;
• Monitoring operational, production, and sales results and making decisions based on data analysis (KPIs, profitability, production costs);
• Initiating and implementing actions to increase production efficiency, optimize costs, and develop new products;
• Managing operational teams in production plants and developing managerial staff.

Our requirements

• Higher education – Graduates of fields such as: Food Technology, Commodity Science, Animal Science, Production Management are recommended;
• Min. 10-15 years of experience in the meat or food industry;
• Min. 5 years of experience in a managerial or directorial position in a production plant;
• Experience in managing a slaughterhouse or meat processing plants;
• Practical knowledge of processes such as: poultry slaughter, meat cutting, packaging, production of semi-finished products and semi products, sales of chicken meat products, semi products, and/or premium chicken;
• Ability to manage budgets and operational costs;
• Ability to build and develop teams;
• Fluent knowledge of English.

Would be a plus

• Postgraduate studies in production management or MBA
