Business Services Accountant

Our client is a well-established public accounting firm that offers innovative and specialised financial services to the Darling Downs region. They are seeking a Business Services Accountant with four or more years of experience to join the team. This client-oriented opportunity will allow you to work within a forward-thinking team that predominantly services the agricultural, medical and wholesale industries.
Responsibilities of the role include:

• Providing financial advice and assistance to small and medium-sized businesses;
• Advising and supporting clients on taxation, compliance, reporting and general financial matters;
• Maintaining client relationships to provide continuous high-quality assistance; and
• Liaising with the ATO and other regulatory bodies on client matters.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

• At least four years of experience in a Public Practice Environment;
• A client-centric approach, along with exceptional communication and time management skills;
• The confidence and the ability to work with a diverse range of clientele; and
• Experience in Xero or equivalent accounting software.
