Business Partner, Labor Relations and Construction Operations (Orléans Island Bridge)

Within the human resources team, the incumbent of this position assumes an expert role in labor relations by occupying a leading role in managing and interpreting collective agreements, laws, and regulations governing our industry. He works closely with managers, employees, union representatives, and various industry stakeholders to promote constructive and harmonious relationships, aiming to foster a positive work environment and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The incumbent will be responsible for: • Developing and implementing labor relations strategies and policies; • Providing expert advice on labor law and collective agreements to management and employees; • Conducting labor relations training sessions for managers and supervisors; • Collaborating with union representatives to resolve disputes and negotiate collective agreements; • Maintaining accurate records of labor relations activities and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess: • A degree in industrial relations, human resources, or a related field; • At least 3 years of experience in labor relations, preferably in the construction industry; • Strong knowledge of labor law, collective agreements, and relevant regulations; • Excellent communication and negotiation skills; • Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including employees, managers, union representatives, and government agencies.
