Do you want to make a social impact and provide direction for complex change as an organizational consultant? As a Business Improvement Consultant, you advise on organizational design and guide transitions and transformations from strategy to a workable and lasting practice.

How you make a difference

You thoroughly understand complex organizational issues and translate strategy into a fitting design. For example: responsibilities are unclear, departments work past each other, or a new working method is not being adopted. You investigate the interrelationships between structure, steering, processes, systems, culture, and behavior, provide sharp advice, and guide the step from direction to practice.

• You advise executive management, management, and teams on organizational design and change.
• You help shape target organizations, working methods, roles, responsibilities, and decision-making.
• You lead organization-wide transitions and transformations, from structure to behavior.
• You help further develop and apply our Way of Working.
• You improve processes and strengthen process management.
• You ensure that advice is feasible and that changes are permanently embedded.

In addition, we offer you:

• a salary between € 5,168 and € 7,382 gross per month based on 38 hours (Salary scale I of the VGZ CAO);
• holiday pay (8%) and a thirteenth month (8.33%);
• the freedom to work from home. You work at the office at least 1 day per week. Working from home is possible with an ergonomically sound workplace that we facilitate;
• a net monthly allowance of €40 for home internet;
• per year you receive 208 vacation hours if you work 38 hours per week. If you want more vacation hours, you can easily purchase them through the Choice Budget;
• an employer contribution of €60 gross per month to your VGZ health insurance;
• a workplace at the office where employee health is paramount, from the healthy lunch in our company restaurant to the quiet rooms.

This is what you bring

As our new Business Improvement Consultant, you are committed to a healthier Netherlands and the renewal of healthcare. You combine the perspective of an organizational consultant with the decisiveness of a change agent. You conduct sharp analyses, work together with stakeholders towards a workable future situation, and provide convincing advice on the necessary choices. In doing so, you look beyond isolated processes: you see how strategy, structure, steering, systems, culture, and behavior influence each other.

Furthermore, you have:

• a higher professional education (HBO+)/university work and thinking level;
• at least eight years of relevant work experience as an organizational consultant, change manager, or consultant;
• extensive experience with applying agile methodologies and leading agile transitions, providing direction for change from a strong agile mindset;
• a solid consulting foundation and persuasive power at various levels;
• affinity with generative artificial intelligence.
