Business Development Sr (Air & Ocean)

The Senior Business Development is responsible for driving commercial growth by identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities within the freight forwarding sector, with a strong focus on air and/or ocean logistics. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep industry knowledge, capable of building long-term customer relationships and generating profitable revenue. The ideal candidate is a proactive, results-driven professional with strong negotiation skills and the ability to work independently. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and implementing business strategies to drive growth and profitability; • Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential customers; • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through market research, industry trends, and competitor analysis; • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop and execute sales plans and strategies; • Analyzing and interpreting sales data to inform business decisions and optimize performance. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets, as well as experience in the logistics or transportation industry. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, marketing) is required, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred.
