Business Development & Project Manager - Circular Economy Solutions

You don't just want to develop concepts, but build new manufacturer take-back systems from scratch and successfully bring them to market? Within the environment of easy recycle, we are looking for an entrepreneurially thinking personality who will develop, pilot, and scale innovative take-back and recycling solutions together with manufacturers and implementation partners.

You will work at the interface of Business Development, Partnership Management, Project Management, and Operations. You will take on responsibility early on, bring together different stakeholders, and ensure that a good idea becomes an economically and operationally functioning take-back system.

Responsibilities

• Solution Development: You will develop new manufacturer take-back systems from the initial idea through pilot operation to scalable roll-out – and beyond.
• Partnership Management: You will identify, acquire, and manage disposal, recycling, logistics, and other implementation partners.
• Project Management: You will coordinate customers, partners, and internal teams, define responsibilities, and reliably bring timelines, to-dos, and decisions to completion.
• Process Development: You will model operational processes, develop standards, SOPs, and service levels, and implement them hands-on together with the involved partners.
• Business Case Modeling & Scaling: You will calculate profitable business cases, develop pricing and remuneration models, and ensure economically viable scaling through standardization, data-based optimization, and automation.

Qualifications

• Education: You have successfully completed a degree in economics, engineering, or a comparable field, combining analytical thinking with a strong understanding of processes and business models.
• Build-up Experience: You have 3+ years of experience in business development, project management, operations, or partner management in a B2B environment.
• Execution Strength: You can independently structure new topics, drive them forward pragmatically, and translate them into robust operational solutions.
• Partner Competence: You communicate confidently with various stakeholders and are able to win over and bind external partners to common goals.
• Analytics & Industry Interest: You think analytically and scalably, work confidently with Excel and CRM systems, and ideally have experience with digital workflows. Knowledge in disposal, recycling, or circular economy is a plus – backgrounds from logistics, supply chain, platform business, construction, technical services, or operational consulting are also suitable.
