Job Description Job Description As a Business Development Manager at QIMA, your primary responsibilities will include: Client Portfolio Management: Develop and manage your own client portfolio, typically consisting of companies involved in the import and export of consumer goods globally. Prospect Acquisition: Utilize various methods such as cold calling, networking, referrals, and participating in fairs and exhibitions to identify and acquire new clients. Client Relationship: Nurture prospective clients through regular communication, meetings, and follow-ups to build strong relationships and identify new business opportunities. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, industry trends, and competitor analysis. Reporting: Provide regular reports to management on client portfolio performance, new business opportunities, and market trends. Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to ensure alignment and effective communication. Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to maintain a high level of expertise and professionalism. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Client portfolio growth, new business acquisition, and revenue growth. Key Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to build strong relationships, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong organizational and time management skills, ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. Experience: At least 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing. Certifications: None required. Language: English language proficiency is required. Travel: Occasional travel may be required.
