We're looking for a passionate and driven Business Development Manager to lead the growth of our Pharma QC laboratory services at SGS lab Simon within the Drug Development segment in Europe. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER PHARMA Your mission: As our Business Development Manager, you'll report to the Head of Pharma Europe and you will be responsible for identifying, developing and winning new business opportunities for Pharma QC laboratory services. Key Responsibilities: * Identify and develop new business opportunities for Pharma QC laboratory services in the assigned region. * Develop and implement a sales strategy to achieve sales targets. * Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders. * Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients. * Negotiate and close deals. * Work closely with the operations team to ensure the successful delivery of projects. * Monitor market trends and competitor activities. * Participate in industry events and conferences. * Manage and maintain the sales pipeline. * Prepare sales reports and forecasts. * Promote the SGS brand and services. Your profile: * Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., life sciences, chemistry, pharmacy). * Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or business development in the pharmaceutical industry. * Proven track record of achieving sales targets. * Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and the drug development process. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers. * Strong negotiation and closing skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Good organizational and time management skills. * Fluent in English and French (other languages are a plus).
