Business Development Manager

Location: Poznań

Recruiting for

For our Client, a company specializing in the implementation of comprehensive projects for industry, covering design, production, assembly, and servicing of technological installations and industrial equipment.

Your scope of responsibilities

  • Searching for new sales opportunities among theaters, cultural venues, philharmonic halls, art schools, and other performance venues.
  • Maintaining constant, long-term contact with cultural institution directors, technical managers, and stage managers.
  • Building a network of contacts among architects and designers, resulting in the specification of specific stage technology systems in project documentation.
  • Regular site visits to client facilities, diagnosing their equipment needs, and providing preliminary consulting on possible solutions.
  • Initiating the sales process by creating and/or raising awareness of purchasing needs among potential clients.
  • Developing technological concepts and selecting appropriate stage equipment with the support of the engineering and design department.
  • Preparing commercial offers and quotes, including for tender procedures (in close cooperation with the internal engineering and design department).
  • Representing the company at sales meetings, presenting proposed technological solutions, and finalizing contract terms.
  • Monitoring announcements of grants for cultural institutions and planned tenders for stage modernization or construction to ensure contact with the future client at an early stage of needs analysis.

Our requirements

  • Experience in a sales position involving active field sales (preferably in the investment, technical, or construction industry).
  • Fluency in conducting conversations at the C-level and ease of client presentations.
  • Ability to quickly absorb product knowledge (stage mechanics, lighting, control systems) to a level allowing for fluent and professional client interaction.
  • High motivation for field work, excellent time management, and a focus on achieving set sales targets.
  • Valid driving license category B and readiness for frequent business trips.
Nice to have
  • Previous sales experience for theaters, the event industry, AV (Audio-Video), or lighting.
  • Having relationships in the cultural and entertainment environment.
  • Ability to design elements carrying dynamic loads.
  • Knowledge of steel structures and connections.
  • Experience working as a designer or design assistant.
  • Execution of technical designs and as-built/executive drawings (working in a CAD environment).
  • Higher technical education (e.g., mechanical engineering, mechatronics, etc.).
