Building on 21 years of continuous growth and success, we are now looking for a talented Business Development Manager to join our team in Local Government. As part of our Business Development team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with local government authorities, developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, and working closely with our sales and marketing teams to drive revenue growth. Key responsibilities: • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with local government authorities; • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders; • Work closely with our sales and marketing teams to drive revenue growth; • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver tailored solutions for local government clients; • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies that can benefit our customers. What we are looking for: • A degree in a relevant field such as business, marketing or a related discipline; • Proven experience in business development, sales or account management within the public sector or a related industry; • Strong understanding of local government structures, policies and procedures; • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills; • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; • Familiarity with CRM systems and data analysis tools.
