Located in Queensland , we are specialise in the wholesale trading of Oriental foods. With a solid foundation and rapid growth, we are seeking business development manager to join our team and help expand our market reach.

Position: Business Development Manager

Location: Cairns, Queensland and surrounding regions

Employment Type: Full-time, permanent position

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute business development strategies to acquire new clients and market channels, focusing on the hospitality, retail, and foodservice sectors.
2. Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing key clients to enhance satisfaction and business share.
3. Conduct market research, analyse competitive landscape, and identify new business opportunities.
4. Represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to increase brand visibility.
5. Collaborate closely with internal teams (procurement, logistics, customer service) to ensure customer needs are met effectively.
6. Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis for management review.

Essential Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience.

Proven experience in business development or sales management within the food wholesale, FMCG, or related industries.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Self-motivated, results-driven, with strong strategic planning and execution abilities.

Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite..
