Overview Our client is a leading global FMCG company operating and is recognised for its portfolio of trusted, iconic brands and ongoing product innovation, the company focuses on delivering high-quality solutions that meet consumer needs. It works in close partnership with major retailers to drive category growth, emphasises sustainable business practices, and invests in long-term brand development. The Business Development Manager – Eastern Europe will play a pivotal role in building the business, with focus on identifying and developing new business opportunities, creating and executing strategic plans to achieve growth targets, and managing key customer relationships. Key Responsibilities: * Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and market trends in the Eastern European region. * Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales and growth targets. * Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers, distributors, and other partners. * Lead negotiations and close deals with new and existing partners. * Manage and mentor a team of business development professionals. * Conduct market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities. * Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and execute marketing and sales strategies. * Prepare and present business plans, forecasts, and reports. * Monitor and analyze market performance and adjust strategies as needed. * Travel throughout the Eastern European region as required. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. * Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the FMCG industry. * Strong understanding of the Eastern European market and consumer trends. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to develop and execute strategic plans. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Experience managing and mentoring a team. * Fluency in English and at least one Eastern European language. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
