Business Development Executive (Shipping & Logistics)

Job Overview You are responsible for marketing and canvassing for new businesses; and fostering long-term relationships with existing clients and stakeholders. You are expected to be prompt, adaptable and accountable in delivering high quality sales and service support in this dynamic shipping environment. You are to develop a keen sense of upcoming shipping developments to assess business opportunities. Responsibilities Pro-actively identify and develop profitable new business opportunities that align with the company's strategic goals. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and stakeholders through regular communication, site visits and other means. Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities by leveraging industry knowledge, market trends and competitor analysis. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective sales strategies are implemented. Ensure all sales activities are compliant with relevant regulations and company policies. Requirements Strong understanding of the shipping and logistics industry. Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
