Business Developer in Defence (Naval & Cybersecurity) (m/f/d) | Germany

A system house for defense and security technology is expanding its business with naval as well as cyber and IT solutions. You will have a say in which markets and programs the company enters and will win the partners and contracts for them. You will work from home and travel to where your customers are located.

What characterizes the position

• 100% remote from all over Germany, with travel to customers, partners, and trade fairs
• You will build the business with naval and cybersecurity solutions, from market analysis to contract

Your tasks

• You will evaluate domestic and international markets and show where entry is worthwhile
• You will find new programs and orders and manage them until signed
• You will define how the company positions itself in target markets: access, sales channel, positioning
• You will maintain contacts with navies, authorities, procurement agencies, system integrators, and industry partners
• You will monitor competition, technologies, and threat landscapes and derive recommendations
• You will manage the pipeline together with sales, product management, and engineering and represent the company at trade fairs

Your profile

• Several years of experience in new business, preferably in the defense industry – for example, as a Business Developer, Key Account Manager, or in Sales
• Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent
• You are familiar with procurement processes, standards, and the customer side in the defense environment
• Strong strategic and commercial skills, confident in front of decision-makers
• Fluent German and English, high willingness to travel
• Network in the naval or security environment is an advantage
