Business Controller (m/w/d)

Ennoo Rental, part of the SafeDriver Group, is scaling its fleet and rental models in the car rental industry. To strengthen the finance team, we are looking for a Business Controller (m/w/d) with a strong analytical focus.

You will be responsible for a reliable monthly and quarterly reporting, steering central KPIs, and keeping financing lines and covenants in sight. At the interface between accounting, controlling, and operational processes, you will ensure transparent decision-making grounds for management and leadership. The role is hands-on: You will optimize structures, improve processes, and work closely with the management and central finance teams of the group.

Aufgaben

• Monitoring of External Financing: Control of financing structures, covenant and KPI tracking, regular reporting to internal stakeholders
• Reporting & Steering: Establishment and responsibility for monthly and quarterly reportings (management reporting, plan-vs-actual comparisons, KPI systems, open accounts)
• Budget and Forecast Monitoring: Analysis of deviations, derivation of measures, support of operational steering
• Portfolio Monitoring: Analysis of the economic development of the vehicle portfolio and establishment of central control key figures
• Process Optimization: Further development of interfaces between accounting and controlling (e.g. monthly closing, data quality, workflows)
• Stakeholder Management: Close cooperation with Ennoo Rental management, Head of Controlling, and CFO of the SafeDriver Group

Qualification

• 1-5 years relevant professional experience in the finance field (e.g. controlling, finance operations, accounting-related controlling, audit or transaction-oriented consulting)
• Very good understanding of business economic relationships and finance processes (monthly closing, reporting, budgeting, planning)
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style with a strong hands-on mentality
• Familiarity with Excel and/or Google Sheets; experience in setting up reporting and KPI structures is an advantage
• Clear, target-group-oriented communication towards management and internal stakeholders
• No disciplinary leadership responsibility required – ownership, reliability, and implementation strength are expected instead
