Business Controller (m/w/d) Production

The SONOTEC GmbH is a leading solution specialist in ultrasonic measurement technology. With about 210 employees, the manufacturer develops and manufactures customer-specific ultrasonic transducers and sensors as well as test equipment and solutions for measuring technology, which are used in various applications and industries around the world.

You make product costs transparent and controllable – from data collection to decision-relevant analysis. With your advanced numerical understanding, you analyze cost structures, margins, and relevant KPIs and create transparency for informed management decisions.

In close cooperation with production and procurement, you identify optimization potential, evaluate its economic impact, and continuously develop the production controlling further. With informative analyses, you ensure that controlling not only delivers numbers but also makes a measurable contribution to corporate success.

Tasks

• Analyze, control, and development of product costs, manufacturing costs, margins, and performance indicators as a central component of margin management
• Preparation and further development of reports, forecasts, and economic analyses
• Development and further development of the product cost model
• Support in budgeting and planning processesSupport in monthly and annual closing activities
• Identification and implementation of optimization potential in production, processes, and reporting structures
• Sparring partner for production management and leadership in business-related questions

Qualification

• Completed business studies with a focus on accounting, controlling or a comparable education
• Multiple years of experience in controlling at a manufacturing company
• Very good knowledge of cost accounting, production processes and key performance indicators
• Safe handling of ERP systems and BI tools (e.g. Power BI)
• Analytical working style with hands-on mentality and high numerical affinity
• Good communication skills, assertiveness and a confident demeanor
• A high degree of discretion, loyalty and sense of responsibility
• Very good German and good English skills
