Cruise Consultant is one of the leading online portals for the brokerage of cruises from all major shipping companies in the DACH region. For our finance team, we are looking for a dedicated Business Controller (m/w/d) in full-time** as of March 2026.

Aufgaben

The declared goal: you will significantly support the company's financial management, optimize internal reporting, and help digitize and streamline processes so that management and departments can access reliable, decision-relevant information at any time.

In this context, your main tasks are:

• Operative implementation of controlling processes (i.e. closures, forecasts, budgets, cash flow, various analyses)
• (Short-term) preparation of evaluations on company key figures and cost structures including derivation / display of concrete recommendations for action
• Analysis of deviations including derivation / display of options for action
• Preparation and further development of internal reporting
• Closely cooperate with Head of Finance / Accounting / Group Controlling (UK) to support the development of systems and reportings
• Support in digitalizing our business processes

Qualifikation

• You have a completed degree with a focus on controlling / finance or equivalent training with corresponding further education (e.g. to certified accountant)
• You bring several years of experience in controlling, including consolidation of financial statements, especially single financial statements for prepared group financial statements, and possibly HGB to UK GAAP
• You effortlessly handle the connections between P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• You are proficient in MS Office (especially MS Excel & PowerPoint) and have experience with DATEV or a comparable accounting software.
• Your native language is German, and you are also strong in English (written and spoken).
• You have a secure grasp of numbers and entrepreneurial thinking that goes without saying for you.
• You maintain a structured work style and clear prioritization, even when dealing with multiple topics at once, and critically review your results.
• Your analytical and goal-oriented approach makes numbers more than just reports to you.
• You bring a high affinity to IT systems and digital tools and are convincing through a confident demeanor and clear, secure communication across various levels.
• Team spirit, reliability, and flexibility round out your profile.
